1 study area

Occupational competencies required can be broadly divided into professional competence , management skills, people skills , work attitude , ability to judge ability six concepts for the professional competence of this study , namely vocational skills.

2 research processes and procedures

The purpose of this study is to understand the industry on international trade professionals vocational skills needs, through literature review to understand international trade company employees required knowledge, skills and ability to establish the basic content of ITC expertise ; whereby questionnaire design , formed draft questionnaire ; through the relevant industry practitioners and correct pre-test questionnaire , and then large-scale surveys to understand the relevant enterprises employing cognitive trade and vocational skills needed to sort ; through quantitative analysis , summarized research conclusions and recommendations for international trade as vocational college curriculum and training design reference .

3 Questionnaire Design

The questionnaire survey mainly around the industry on international trade practitioners vocational skills needs, from Business English ( trade oral skills , ability to read English , English business letter capacity ) ; International Trade Practice ( International Trade Practice , letters of credit practice, international cargo transportation practice, international cargo insurance practices, customs regulations and customs clearance practices, international commercial arbitration , international trade negotiation skills ) ; International Marketing ( International Marketing basic theory, market research , trade exhibition practice ) ; trade laws ( civil, commercial , trade regulations ) ; international finance and foreign exchange ( import and export trade finance operations, foreign exchange operations of international exchange -cum- manufacturer ) five levels designed the questions , the respondents Zheyi cognitive importance of the ability to answer the . Likert scale questionnaire used to measure the ability of mining importance , r very important j5 points , r j4 more important points , r J3 generally important points , r j2 less important points , r very unimportant J1 points , N ungraded . In order to understand the background while on the job itself influence the answer for respondents' gender, age, educational level , and international trade industry work experience designed profile section .

4 Data Collection

This study used E-MAIL mailed questionnaires, 285 questionnaires were returned valid questionnaires l79 copies. Effective rate of 62.81% . On questionnaires to calculate the average number of the questions to learn vocational skills required of employees Traders and sorting , as a professional international trade vocational colleges curriculum design reference.

5 Conclusion

Through this survey , we can understand society on international trade graduates the importance of occupational demand for the following sort : Trade English conversation ; Listening ; international trade practice l process credit practices ; trade regulations , English reading , market research, business English letters, international trade negotiation skills , trade exhibition practice in accordance with the survey results may be understood in the industry for practitioners should have the professional skills needs that sort, this result can be used as a reference for curriculum planning .
